Processing of Personal Data Customer Clarification Text

Dear Visitor, within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, we would like to inform you.

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698 ("PDPL"), all your personal data, including any information that identifies or can identify you, and your special categories of personal data, will be processed by Uysal Turizm as the data controller.

The processing of personal data includes any operation performed on data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, altering, rearranging, disclosing, transferring, classifying, or preventing the use of data.The protection of your personal data is vital to us. We would like to inform you that we will take all necessary measures in this regard and will continue to be extremely transparent.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

The purposes of processing personal data collected (such as name, address, occupation, phone number, email address, date of birth, room number, identification information, vehicle plate, invoice details) by our company may include reservation, information processing, advertising, conducting business processes, marketing, promotion, customer satisfaction surveys, customer relationship management, ensuring physical premises security, fulfilling notification obligations to relevant/authorized public institutions (such as the Gendarmerie), and providing you with better services.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your data is processed and stored securely for the purposes listed above. In accordance with the basic principles envisaged in the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL, your personal data processed for the stated purposes may be transferred domestically or internationally, based on legal obligations such as the obligation to notify public institutions, legal regulations, performance of the contract, to banks related to legal obligations, to hospitals and healthcare institutions for emergency medical interventions and fulfilling occupational health and safety obligations, and within the framework of legal grounds and your consent, for the personal data processing purposes mentioned above.

Method of Collecting Your Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected by our Company through various methods depending on the services provided by our Company and the commercial activities thereof. These methods may include automatic or non-automatic means. Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through all accommodation documents, application forms, and other documents related to transactions arranged with your consent and/or signature. Additionally, your personal data may be collected through various channels such as Company departments and divisions, website, social media platforms, mobile applications, and similar means. Furthermore, your personal data may be processed when you use our Company's call centers or website, visit our Company or website, or attend training sessions, seminars, or events organized by our Company.

Your Rights Listed in Article 11 of the PDP Law:

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to us through the methods specified in this Information Note, our Company will promptly and no later than thirty days free of charge, depending on the nature of the request, process the request. However, if the Personal Data Protection Board specifies a fee for the requests, our Company will charge the fee according to the tariff determined by our Company.

In this context, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: a) Learning whether your personal data is being processed, b) Requesting information if your personal data has been processed, c) Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are being used for their intended purpose, d) Knowing the third parties to whom personal data are transferred, whether domestically or internationally, e) Requesting correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, and requesting that the correction be notified to third parties to whom the personal data have been transferred, f) Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the PDP Law and other relevant laws, even if they have been processed in compliance with the law, in case the reasons requiring their processing cease to exist, and requesting that such actions be notified to third parties to whom the personal data have been transferred, g) Objecting to the occurrence of a result against the individual by exclusively analyzing the processed data through automatic systems, h) Demanding compensation for damages in case personal data is processed unlawfully and causes harm.

Data Subject Information Request Methods

As the data subject, you must submit your claims to our Company in writing. In this regard, for the proper and speedy management of your applications under Article 11 of the PDP Law, we recommend that you use the "Data Subject Information Request Form" available under the "Personal Data Protection" section on our website. Depending on your request, you may also be asked to provide necessary documents/information and identification documents to establish your identity. It is advisable to submit your request either in person or by registered mail with return receipt requested.
